Three people were on Tuesday killed by bandits in different areas in Merti, Isiolo County, and over 300 livestock stolen, police have said.
Confirming the incidents, Isiolo County Commissioner Geoffrey Omoding said one of them was killed in Urura area.
Commissioner Omoding stated that the other two people were killed on the border of Isiolo and Samburu, whereupon the livestock were stolen.
He further warned the people of Isiolo against carrying out a revenge attack, adding that police are presently working on recovering the stolen livestock.
