Ahead of the 2022 U17 FIFA Women’s World Cup in India, captain of Nigeria’s Flamingoes Alvine Dah Zossu has again confirmed the team’s readiness to do well.
The team under coach Bankole Olowookere is presently in a closed camping exercise in Kocaeli, Turkey getting ready for the tournament.
They defeat Galatasaray Ladies on Saturday 3-1 and they are getting ready to face Fenerbahce Ladies later in the week.
They intensified their preparation on Monday and the skipper underlined the team’s readiness to do well.
“Every training day is an opportunity to learn, good things don’t come easily but we are determined to do well at the FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup. We won’t rest until we achieve our aim”, she said.
