The dream of French Ligue one giant Olympique Marseille to sign Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi is set to become an illusion as the player has turned down the offer.
Marseille had a player-plus-cash bid accepted by FC Lorient earlier this week but the player has rejected the move.
The left-footed striker for the past weeks has had his heart set on a move to the Allianz Riviera, and therefore politely refused Marseille’s approach.
He is now awaiting the outcome of the negotiations between Nice and Lorient.
According to L’ equipe, Marseille has already formulated three offers for the FC Lorient forward and is now preparing a fourth bid to finally land the striker.
